Garden Gal
How nice of you to come by! Come on over here and sit down. I’ve been so busy in the garden these past few weeks, and I’ve been blogging all about it.
Let me just go and get some refreshment, it’s so darn hot out here this summer. There are a few articles around here somewhere for you to read, while I’m gone, but I’ll be just a minute. I’ll get my calendar while I’m in the kitchen, and we can see what I’m doing.
Gardening is such fun isn’t it? I sometimes think I was born with dirt under my fingernails! Did I ever tell you some of the things that I’ve done?
My friend Kate next door is a garden writer, and does some lovely talks around town too!

Winter is when the landscape is at its most challenging – whether there is snow cover or not, the perennials and bulbs are dormant leaving a rather blank vista. Conifers and ornamental grasses plus the stark images of mature tree forms are just some of the things that make the winter landscape interesting if you take the time to walk outside and see them.
